I would like to create a challenge for the city to at least begin dialogue of why and how we can create an equal opportunity education system in the greater Atlanta area. Is it private donations? Is it better teachers? Better resources? What are making these schools better and how we can improve the quality in the other schools that are falling behind. Poverty conditions and unstable/broken households will definitely have an affect on students and they're ability to learn but better education has proven that those children will have a better chance.
