create Equal Pay for U.S. government employees who do the same job, regardless of gender, race

Dear Mr. President,

Thank you for your recent efforts to reduce wage gaps in the private sector due to race and/or gender.

I would request that your Administration set an example for the private sector and and work with the federal agencies to reduce wage gaps within the U.S. Government.

For instance, I am a non-Caucasian female working at the US Dept of State. I earn $16,000 dollars less than my colleague who is a Caucasian female. We both started the same day, same position, same office, same city over 5 years ago.

There is no way for me to receive a) salary adjustment, b) request back pay, c) and if I asked HR, there is no guarantee of confidentiality to even look into this.
