For years, mother's haven taken control of children when parting ways with the father and keep him from seeing them or to only see them at her discretion. Often there is a money issue involved and the children are used for bargaining. This can go on for months until a court date and the father loses important bonding time with children, especially when they are young. We need to put a stop to this and implement quicker court dates for custody to protect a father's right to see his children and to also ensure they are getting quality time with their father. Children have two parents and need both in their lives - one should not be considered more entitled than the other. A father should not be kept from parenting or from his equal rights of fatherhood before the case goes to court.
