Congress was created to serve the people of the United States. It's actions and legislation create undue burden when drafted without consideration of unintended consequences and it often exempts itself, its affiliates and other agencies and instrumentalies of the Federal goverment from the requirements of legislation imposed upon the citizens.
I petition the Obama administration to initiate a '
Truth in Legislation' policy which requires that all legislation and regulation imposed upon citizens and non-governmental entities be imposed to a like degree upon the Congress and all agencies and instrumentalities of the U.S. government. In addition all legislation should be reviewed as to practical consequences which may be unintended and cost/benefit analysis.
