It is time to not only reform how we vote, or how long elected officials can be in office, but also on how we should hold them accountable for their actions while supposedly "representing us"!
Any and all bills, laws, amendments should be posted and explained to "we the people" before any vote can be made on them. Each representative must take a straw poll/vote of their constituency and vote according to "the wishes of the people", not the wishes of "the rich and powerful lobbyists and corporations.
This would be in adjunct to getting "money out of politics". If any person working for any government position is caught taking bribes or not following this procedure, will immediately be fired from position/office.
Why should Washington not be held accountable, when WE THE PEOPLE are!!
