Whereas educating our youth is a vital asset to guaranteeing future success, we propose that DOD teachers and school employees be exempt from federal furloughs associated with the sequester.
Any loss of education time could have far reaching impact on children and families. The results of reducing teaching time and/or pay would be disastrous for the United States.
