Following the recent Mass Shootings from Columbine in 1999 to Virginia Tech, and ongoing towards the Movie Theatre in Colorado and more recently the Mall in Oregon and the Elementary School in Connecticut. This Petition calls for an Executive Order from President Obama requiring the creation of a Federal Mandate for any and all Public Places (e.g Malls, Large Stores, Movie Theatres, State and County Fairgrounds, Airports, etc...) and any location capable of holding a capacity of 750 or more to have required Monthly Lock Down Drills and Escape Plans in place. Furthermore, it shall also require our Public Institutions, Pre K-12 AND Secondary Schools and Colleges to have Armed Guards/Police Officers at all times, to protect our families and children while attending said institutions.
