The petition is to take a stand for people who have cancer and can not chose where they feel comfortable going to for treatment. Or for cancer patients like myself who has to leave my treatment team who I have confided in through a difficult diagnosis and now I have to find a new doctor because the insurance company Independence Blue Cross will not make a deal with Cancer Treatment Centers of America or pay the claims. Cancer patients are suffering and dying from traveling across country to see doctors that are located in their own state. Because I am 37 years old Social Security is giving me a hard time with benefits and they have denied me benefits. If it was not for my husband and the benefits through his job I would be dead. Something has to change for cancer patients. Cancer kills.
