I petition to create a Federal ban on all Assault, Automatic and Semi-Automatic Weapons. These guns should be restricted to be used by the Military or Law Enforcement only. When the 2nd Amendment was written these types of guns did not exist. By only allowing manual loading hand guns we can still respect our founding fathers right to bear arms as well as uphold our constitutional rights. I would also like to see a federally required background check for all gun and ammunition purchases in the United States.
In addition to this request, I would like to petition a Federal Firearms Public Registration (FFPR) of all current and future firearm possessions. If you own a weapon that can kill, the American public should have the right to know the dangers nearby your work, home or school.
