Create a Federal Educator and Student Defense Act program.

Create a certification similar to the Federal Flight Deck Officer program to allow educators to be armed on school grounds, in the classroom, and during authorized school events.
Under this program, eligible teachers and school staff are deputized Federal Law Enforcement Officers authorized by the Homeland Security to use firearms to defend against acts of criminal violence undertaken to attack or physically harm students while on school grounds or attending and authorized school function. Participants in the program are meant to remain anonymous, and while armed, are prohibited from sharing their participation except with select personnel on a need to know basis.`
