The economic productivity gains across the nation on the day after the Super Bowl are significantly lower than those on typical Mondays. Due to a steadfast rule by the NFL to keep the game on "Super Sunday," it behooves this nation to declare Monday after the Super Bowl a federal holiday. This will incentivize more service industry revenue on Super Sunday and will reduce productivity losses for other businesses on Monday.
