Native Americans are the original inhabitants of the land that now constitutes the United States. They have helped develop the fundamental principles of freedom of speech and separation of powers that form the foundation of the United States Government. And they have served with valor in all of America's wars beginning with the Revolutionary War through the present day.
The time has come for America to enact this national holiday for the first people of this land we today call America, the true home land of the Native Americans.
