create a federal law allowing Americans to collect 5% per day in interest on tax refund money they are late in receiving

Created by A.A. on April 23, 2013

American citizens are required to pay to the IRS interest on tax payments they owe, calculated for each day the balance due is not paid in full. Americans should be able to receive the same benefit for every day the US government is late in repaying citizens' tax refund money, especially since the most common reason for delays in tax refunds is due to the government's poor financial management and inability to control wasteful spending.
