Create a Federal Law giving all qualified Americans the right to carry a gun to protect themselves and others.

It seems with some of the recent tragedies there is a strong push to control guns. If all the criminals turned in their weapons and promised not to use any more weapons that would be great. We all know that this is an impossibility. Future restrictions would only hurt the law abiding citizen and help the criminals. Maybe the outcome of the recent tragedies would have been different if school staff or theater goers would have had the right to carry a gun. Please provide a federal law to give the qualified law abiding citizen the right to protect themselves and others.
