My friend was recently denied an apartment simply for being gay, which unfortunately is entirely legal in my state. Also, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act needs to be enacted. Regardless of the personal views of law makers, they are going against the fundamental values of equal rights in the United States of America, the so called "land of the free".
