Create a federal law to protect the watersheds and aquifers of the U. S., along with their wildlife and habitat areas.

This petition requests a new federal law designed to protect our critically important environmental system of watersheds and aquifers, along with their wildlife and naturally pristine habitat areas, for future generations of Americans. Our planet has a natural system of water transport and recycling, which is caused by our natural terrain and its watersheds and aquifers. This environmental system needs to be protected within the U.S., including the integrity of its riverbeds, banks,and natural waterflow, which must be kept free of siltation and sedimentation. The water quality must also be monitored, protected and kept free of pollution. And this new legislation must also protect the wildlife and their natural habitat areas within these watersheds, for ourselves and future generations.
