There are many countries that allow 80-100% paid paternity leave for new mothers and new fathers for a set amount of time. The United States should follow these other countries that take Human Rights seriously. New parents need that time to bond with their new children instead of pushing them off on someone else almost immediately while losing income for the cost of the day care. Create a Federal Law requiring businesses that have 50 or more employees to give the following:
80-100% paid leave of what the person makes.
3-6 months should be allowed with the new family addition.
Make it available for new mothers and new fathers.
