Create a Federal Mandate That Forces ALL State and Local Law Enforcement Officers To Wear Body Cameras While On Duty

Due to police misconduct and fatal shootings that have happened, I feel it is appropriate to make law enforcement officers to wear simple body cameras, so that all of their actions and interactions between law enforcement and suspected criminals be caught on tape, ensuring that law enforcement officers themselves abide by and respect the rights of those they come in contact with. Police misconduct has seemingly become a national epidemic and we all know that people tend to do the right thing when they know they are being watched. The body camera's would ensure that the police we entrust to serve and protect do not break the law as well.
