Police brutality and harassment is a serious problem. Almost daily a new video is discovered showing an instance of police brutality/harassment. Studies have shown that when police are aware of their actions being filmed these instances of brutality are greatly reduced. I propose a federal mandate ordering all law enforcement to wear recording devices at all times while on duty. This device could not be turned off for any reason while the law enforcement agent is on duty. Mr. President, when Trayvon Martin was killed you said that if you had a son, he would look like Trayvon. In the Names of Sean Bell, Ramarley Graham, Duane Brown, Kelly Thomas and a frighteningnly fast growing list of others, I implore you to do what you were elected to do and lead the way to a lasting change.
