911 emergency operators in this country are grossly underpaid in almost all areas of the country. These fine people are responsible for the lives of all citizens and are not properly compensated for the level of responsibility they have. Working conditions can be extremely stressful and require emmense skill and concentration. The last thing these people need is to be worried about feeding there families while they have your life in their hands. I petition the Obama administration to either fund the wage gap or enforce new regulations on city, county and state governments to increase the wages for these essential personnel.
