Create federal pressure cooker control legislation

Created by W.T. on April 24, 2013

These lethal devices can cause serious mayhem. There needs to be special legislation providing for restrictions on the acquisition and transfer of pressure cookers. We also need legislation covering crockpots and other cookwear which can easily be adapted for use as a dangerous pressure cooker.

Before any department stores sells a pressure cooker, a universal background check should be conducted. There should also be a "cooling off period" of at least 14 days before a customer can take possession of such devices. We also need to close the "garage sale loophole."
