Everyday millions of cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, fish, goats, sheep, rabbits, horses, and other animals are forced to live in horrendous conditions not suitable for any animal life for the sole purpose of human consumption. These animals deserve better from our country and deserve to have their basic needs met. There needs to be Federal regulations(which there are not now much to peoples surprise) to ensure that these animals are treated humanely and appropriately. Factory farming in which animals are so confined that they can't move or turn around needs to end. We as humans have the responsibility of treating these animals ethically.
