create a Federal Robotics Commission to monitor and regulate the development of artificial intelligence and robotics

On behalf of the Coalition for a Federal Robotics Commission (CFRC) (https://www.facebook.com/fedrobcomm), this petition calls for creating a Federal Robotics Commission (FRC) that would provide relevant expertise for the government, investigate AI-based invasions of privacy, address mass unemployment due to robotics and AI, guard against the emergence of a hostile or indifferent superintelligence, and oversee the application of AI technologies within government and as a tool of economic development.
