Create federal standards to prevent gerrymandering of congressional districts.

Created by C.S. on October 18, 2013

Allowing gerrymandering to continue is undermining our political process. We need federally enforced, fair guidelines that prevent unfair, gerrymandered district designations and ensure that all ballots cast by voters have equal impact on the outcome of the election. Professor Yang , founder of the Princeton Election Consortium, suggests that this can be accomplished by establishing non-partisan redistricting commissions in all 50 states and by adopting a statistical robust judicial standard for identifying partisan gerrymandering.

Let’s eliminate this un-American practice and restore integrity to our electoral process.
