we want the white house to create a subsidized recycling program similar to the ones in California and Michigan.
this will work by adding another ten to fifteen cents to the cost of an aluminum can or plastic bottle. Once a person is finished with the bottle they can return it to a machine and get back the extra ten to fifteen cents. This program will encourage recycling at little cost to the government and the government could eventually make a profit by selling aluminum and plastic to manufacturers as post consumer content.
