CREATE A FEDERAL TRADEMARK DESIGNATION FOR BUSINESSES THAT SUPPORT U.S. JOBS AS SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANIES - SRCs.

Created by M.B. on January 07, 2013

Job creation in America should be the number one priority of our federal government. Congressional gridlock has stymied efforts to put Americans back to work. Therefore, the President must continue to utilize measures within his authority to achieve job growth.

By executive order of the President, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will create a federal trademark to designate businesses for being Socially Responsible Companies. The criteria will include but are not limited to those enterprises that:

1) In-source jobs
2) Hire veterans and/or the unemployed
3) Promote green innovation
4) Engage in community development

SRCs that receive this designation will proudly and prominently display the trademark after its business name to promote goodwill and public awareness.
