Create federally issued debit card that gives usage fee to education not corporations.

Debit cards have replaced cash for many individuals. These cards issued by banks and credit companies charge a fee every time you make a purchace. This petition is for the government to regain control of US currency by creating a debit card issued by the treasury department. This will be a card free of association with corporations that can be used like cash. The US Government can collect the usage fee instead of Visa and similar corporations. Proceeds should go to fund education programs. Enrollment should be optional and give consumers the choice to support our country not corporations.
