We, the people, see a conflict of interest in police departments investigating themselves. There is also a conflict when a DA office holds all cases to an area. The corruption is in every city. It's likely millions of people are affected every year by falsified reports and police brutality. Please, allow us a branch where volunteers can protect our community from corruption. It's cost effective.
Many will jump to the cause. We need no arms, only handcuffs. They will face a jury of peers. Our lives matter. Our children's lives matter. Honor is no longer a virtue in our police forces. Let us purge it so that our children can live in the society we were promised. We all make mistakes. But honor is admitting your mistakes and facing the consequences. "Come what may."
