We the people, in each of our respective businesses, have been required to be financially responsible It is time that our federal government subscribes to the same amount of responsibility.
The years of over-indulgence and reckless spending needs to be brought to an end. Just as a family looks to the "head of household" to make the proper financial decisions, we the people look to our leaders to do the same.
It is time our elected officials deal with the issue, and not push it into the laps of our next generation. Businesses have had to make tough, life altering decisions over the past five years, it is time our government officials do the same.
