Create a firewall between the EPA and profiteering to save the environment

It has become readily apparent to the public that environmental hazards caused by profitable companies are ignored, downplayed, and/or concealed. Our children have a right to clean air, water, soil, housing, and food. The EPA must be segregated from profit hungry companies that do not care about leaving a toxic legacy, in order to protect our health. Toxins in the environment cause illness, suffering, and disability, as well as increased medical claims and costs. Making the EPA a scientific and objective regulatory agency will save lives and money. Existing conflicts of interest must be eliminated by creating a firewall between the hard truth and gross polluters, who are currently profiting by destroying our environment.
