A 10% Flat Tax without loopholes. Everyone pays 10% of their income. As a single person, at this time, my tax bracket is approximately 37%. Why? As a single person I have 1 income but I pay more taxes than couples. Wealthy people pay less taxes than anyone because they can afford the CPA's to find the current loopholes. Take away the massive and confusing tax rules, books, clauses and make something simple.
Next - if needed create a Federal sales tax. The more someone buys the more they will pay in sales taxes.
