The Midwestern U.S. and the Ohio Valley suffer routine springtime flooding every year. Severe floods have occurred in these areas from Spring 2007- June 2008 and major floods again in 2010 including the Tennessee Valley.

Simultaneously, and for the most part continuously, the Western U.S. suffers from constant extreme drought. The Western United States has had constant annual population growth and creating constant strain on local water resources. The Colorado river no longer reaches the Gulf of Mexico.
To alleviate both these environmental problems we propose a pipeline and reservoir system from points around the US to lakes in the Western U
