My petition is about students that have a difficult time finding internships and jobs in their field of interest. I want the government to create programs and incentives for companies to train people through internships. The company would hire the person on as an intern, send them to college, then hire them on after graduation as a permanent employee. The student would have to set a high standard of at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average. They would also have to work part-time as an intern to learn on-the-job. This process; school, internship, permanent job would be streamlined and it would enable students of all ages that are dedicated to excellence to get great paying positions. It would be a win-win situation all around.
