Create fund for employees to buy their companies and put them in trusts. End Wall St rule, keep jobs in US. Gov't repaid

Created by R.J. on March 10, 2013

Business profit growth is good, but relentless pursuit of short term profit gains above all other goals is not. It leads to jobs being sent overseas, innovation being stifled, low employee wages and knee-jerk reactions to temporary changes in the economy. There is a better way. Employees can buy their companies from shareholders, and put those companies in trusts so that they can never be resold. Now the employees can set about running their companies for long-term success. They won't send their own jobs overseas, they'll support their local communities, they'll pay decent wages, they'll invest in R&D and deliver improved customer service. In short, they'll get the monkey (Wall Street) off their backs. We need to get it started with government loans - to be repaid with interest.
