Create a grant to cover college fees for students who are pursuing an education major or minor.

In Obama's 2008 campaign, he stated that teachers were vital to improving our country. He believed that students who pursued in becoming teachers, shouldn't have to pay for college. It seems this goal has been forgotten since there has been no progress toward this goal. It is important to enforce how important teachers are to our nation and how difficult it is to become educators. There should be a grant for students to apply for to help the expensive costs it takes to educate the next generation, especially knowing we won't be paid much for doing so. This grant should be rewarded to low income students with a GPA of a 2.7 or higher, since that is the minimum requirement for a student to have while in the education program.
