Create "Gun Registration." Why our dogs and cars, but not guns? Keep people responsible, take the first step: Register.

The United States is a free country; we value our rights and equality as a people. Over the last few years we've let the United States Gov't take necessary measures to ensure our safety. While a person should NEVER surrender their freedoms without true cause, we must protect ourselves. Guns are a right in America; I own three. They are, however, also used wrongly. The proposal for a gun registration does not infringe upon a person's right to have weapons, and takes a step in the right direction for ensuring the safety of our citizens. Tell the states, Mr. Obama: We need to protect our children, our future, and our way of life. Register your guns.
