Create health care industry caps on charges for services thus minimizing the gross overcharging that currently happens.

Created by B.P. on December 28, 2012

The current health care system allows for providers to charge what every they want to provide services to consumers. For example, I received a bill that charges $1,583 to diagnose a ovary cyst. In the details, I can see $60 for a pregnancy test, which should be done for a cost of less then $10, which equates to 600% inflated charge. This is the root to our health care issues. I am an informed consumer, but the costs of the services in the urgent care are not up front and either way, options are limited when you are in pain.
