Developed with renewable energy such as wind and solar, this new rail system will be consistently cheap and work for generation after generation of Americans' need for transportation. China is developing a modern high speed rail system: let's race them to it with the enthusiasm of our past generations.
An updated infrastructure would be a gift to the ageing road system that is often clogged up and increasingly inefficient. When will America step into the 21st century?
