All States will will have a Holiday in which every single citizen will have the day off in order to vote. This will apply to any voting day, from federal down to city government. On this day all employed people within the region where the voting is held will have a paid day off work where they will have the opportunity to vote.
This is in hopes to improve voter turnout in all classes of society, as everyone will have this paid day of leave. Everyone that day will be paid equally, no matter if they vote or not, as long as they are a registered voting citizen. The money will come from a yearly tax not greater than 3% (0.03) of ones monthly earnings. This tax will apply to all citizens within the area of voting.
