Create the Homeroom Protection Act; allow teachers in every school in all states the right to carry in their classroom.

Created by S.L. on December 15, 2012

To create a 'Homeroom Protection Act' that, upon completing a state approved CHL course, gives every school teacher, all across this nation, the 'right to carry' in their class room.
Teachers (and students) are assigned to & 'reside' in their classrooms for 8-10 hours a day, much like they do in their personal residence. The children that they teach each day 'reside' in the same 'homeroom' as the teacher, therefore the teacher and students should be afforded the same rights to protect themselves within their school 'residency' as they would in their personal residence.
Allow each teacher the choice to carry or not, and those who choose to carry would be required to complete a state certified Concealed Handgun License course.
Teachers should be able to protect their homerooms & children.
