Due to the recent shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, many questions are being asked about how to avoid more tragedies like this. One factor that plays an important role in these and past events is the mental state of the shooter. Still there are limitations on treatment; families do not have the means or the knowledge of what to do if a member is mentally unstable; and when the cases are too difficult their only choice for treatment is jail.

We are part of one body. We, as a society, must improve in this area.
