Create an "ignominy" law regarding mass shooters: ban the publication or broadcast of the suspects name and image.

Created by W.S. on October 04, 2015

One of the primary reasons mass shooters commit homicide is to gain attention for themselves and live, or die, in infamy. I propose we take away this incentive and ban the publication and broadcast of any mass shooting suspect.

The focus should not be on the suspect and his or her motivations and life. Instead, the suspect should live in anonymous shame and be forgotten. Celebrate and remember the lives of the innocent victims; not the life of a deranged individual and the horrible acts he or she committed.
