The increasing tax burden on all Americans is undoubtedly a major factor to the economic hardships felt by those who are currently lucky to be gainfully employed. Increased spending by the American public would be an immediate stimulus to economies across our country. A significant cut would be required in order to make a truely signifcant difference in the paychecks of working Americans. In order to do this, significant spending cuts by the federal government would have to occur. However, these cuts could be offset by the increased tax revenue incurred by the increased spending by Americans.
