Introduce a bill to congress requiring that all products and goods imported into the United States must be manufactured by employees making at least our Federal Minimum Wage. This would lower the incentive for Corporations to ship American jobs overseas. It would also help workers around the world earn a living wage allowing them to purchase more goods which would help the worlds economy. More jobs in the U S would also create a larger tax base bringing in more revenue to pay off our national debt. Rather than lowering our wages to be competitive internationally we need to help increase wages throughout the world to allow our fellow human beings to enjoy the standard of living we expect in the United States.
