Sure cars and gas that you already have is good, but see it in a few 20 years for children and even yourselves. Life will be cheaper, faster, and this will distibute jobs ranging from every city to create subway systems, or train transporting rails. Their are many different ways this could help America, reducing energy consumption, and even a quick way to get to work "without traffic," which could be a 30 miles away.
