To create a new state, named Jefferson. Formed from the following counties: Del Norte, Siskiyou, Modoc, Humbolt, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Mendocino, Tehama, Plumas, Butte, and Glenn from California; Curry, Josephine, Jackson, Klammath, Coos, Douglas, and Lake from Oregon. Southern California does not adequately represent people from Northern California. Northern Oregon does not adequately represent people from Southern Oregon. This will give the people of these rural and small community areas a chance to be represented fairly in a state that is comprised of like people.
