create a job placement system for able bodied individuals who are collecting welfare and are not actively working.

Welfare should not be abused by people who are able to work but choose not to. In order to correct this problem we believe that the Federal Government should create a job placement program for people who are on Welfare. This program would look at local businesses(i.e. McDonald's, Burger King) that have job openings and are always looking to hire more people. The program should then contact the Welfare recipient and tell them to apply. If the employer accepts the application and wants and interview the recipient then MUST go to the interview. If the employer hires them then they must start ASAP. The government will then deduct the amount of money that they make per week from the Welfare check. This would cause the unemployment rate to decrease and Federal spending to go down.
