We need Dams on the Lower Mississippi River below the State of Missouri to capture the NATURAL Renewable Energy Resource to lower our energy bills. ENTERGY, a member of the Fortune 500 has a 42-year power purchase contract with Louisiana Power & Light (a subsidiary of Entergy) which provides power to 2.7 million customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Entergy's revenues in 2010 were $11 billion. In 2008 Entergy filed a Combined Const. & Operating License application for a 2nd nuclear reactor at River Bend, St. Francisville, LA. that produces electricity but is not passed on to the consumer 30 miles N. of Baton Rouge. Cost of this project $6.5 Billion Dollars.
