create jobs for the artists of our nation that help strengthen, enliven, and develop our local and national economy.

Created by C.S. on October 27, 2011

During President Teddy Roosevelt's administration, the New Deal provided jobs for writers, painters, etc., that employed many people and helped beautify our nation. These works were paid good wages and were treated like any other worker in our nation. Artists of today are eager and willing to do the same thing. Fine craftsman, painters, poets, and the like could bring that same energy and vision back to America and be paid livable wages that would support their efforts and help create a new economy for our struggling nation. America could be beautiful and hopeful at the same time with this kind of project.
