Corporations are working employees harder and cutting benefits in the name of profit. Employees are working harder in fear of losing jobs.
Help American workers by changing labor laws:
1. Raise minimum wage.
2. Change rules for exempt employees to limit their legal work week to 48 hours maximum. Additional time worked must be paid at time-and-a-half.
3. Every exempt employee in the United States gets a minimum of 4 weeks paid vacation a year.
4. Mandate parental leave of 8 weeks, fully paid.
5. Every exempt employee in the United States gets a minimum of 15 days of paid sick/personal leave per year.
